Real Flower Confetti

When we got married (over 10 years ago) we wondered beforehand if the vicar would allow us to have confetti thrown outside the church. At the time, it wasn't a problem and our family and friends threw handfuls of paper confetti.

Nowadays however, paper confetti is often frowned upon and sometimes is not allowed. But don't worry! The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company offers a fantastic, completely natural, superior alternative. Using a wide range of flower petals including:
  • Delphinium
  • Hydrangea
  • Rose
  • Skeleton leaves
confettidirect.co.uk have a great, unique product that also solves the problem of paper confetti - flower petals are of course biodegradable.

Civil Partnerships Can Avoid Inheritance Tax

john inmanRon Lynch, the partner of the Are You Being Served? star John Inman (pictured), inherited almost all of the £2.8m estate and did not have to pay any inheritance tax (according to the Telegraph).

Because the pair underwent a civil partnership ceremony in 2005, the Government's civil partnership legislation meant that Mr Lynch was exempt from an inheritance tax charge.

Wedding Cheese Cake

wedding cheese cakeThe discerning cheese merchants Paxton and Whitfield have come up with an unusual idea for a wedding cake. It's a cheese cake, not an american style cheese cake, but one that is made of layers of cheese such as cheddar, cheshire and specialist regional cheeses such as Yarg from Cornwall.

Decorated with seasonal fruits and nuts these cakes are certainly different and make a change from the more traditional fruit cake covered in Royal icing.

For a completely unique cake why not plonk your very own handmade cake topper on the top too!
